Meadows were the most popular pea variety used on the prairies for a number of years. Being medium in size, it has a consistent yield, early maturity, and still desired by many for its strong rating against seed coat breakage.

CDC Hickie
CDC Hickie peas are our best rated variety against lodging. It has a good resistance to seed coat breakage, dimpling, and they are an earlier maturing pea than our Chromes.
AAC Chrome
AAC Chrome peas continue to outyield the other varieties in our area and all across the province. Not only does it have the highest yield province-wide, but it also has a strong disease package with medium seed size and a good rating against seed coat breakage.
