CDC Arborg oats are known for having strong straw, high yield, and substantial plant mass.  Its thin hull makes it desirable for the millers and farmers like it for its seed shatter resistance.

CDC Dancer doubles as a silage oat but is still sought after by the millers for its thin hull.  This is a desired oat variety for the organic farmer.

AC Summit is a common variety due to its short straw, making it easier for stubble management.  It is still in high demand from millers and has a good disease package.
